2009
Jim

"The BTN is doing Mt.
Nittany justice tonight, with
it's on-the-road tour. Mountains
in the background. Great place."
"TV game coverage at
PSU never shows what the mountains
actually look like. Happy Valley
is the jewel of the Big Ten."

on the Bryce Jordan Center's

that the BJC looked better because
of Mt. Nittany, they said:
"Well
now that you made it sound like
the Mountain is the only reason
the picture is nice....go right
ahead. :-)"

Seen
on the Mountain - June 2007
We
recently received the following in a recent
email to the Conservancy.
"Dear
Mt. Nittany Conservancy:
My children (ages 11 and 4) and I hiked
Mt. Nittany this morning.
Look what we found close to the top on the
white trail!! (about 20 ft. before where
the paths cross to turn right to Mike Lynch
Overlook. It's on the right of the trail
as you are ascending, just under an evergreen
if I remember correctly.)
You've probably seen it before. It's a pink
lady slipper wild orchid. And it is perfect.
Just had to share ."
